Due to the Chinese New Year celebration on Friday, we had our last lesson on Monday. And during our last lesson, we were learning about the other scene in The Merchant Of Venice by William Shakespeare of the characters in it. We were suppose to read about the scene and then answer the question below. After that, Mr Chua will call some of us up to tell the whole class about what we had written.
I was quite shocked when Mr Chua called me up, I never thought that the first 'lucky' person to be called up would be me! Seow Hui Min was snickering at me when she heard me being called up. I was really scared about speaking out loud and my volume was quite low when I answered, but only after a few seconds I finally had the confidence to speak louder, and after a few more people, Seow Hui Min got her chance too. ^^
Her volume was even lower than mine :] and I learnt that you will get what you deserve if you laugh at people. Haha. :]
After that exercise we did some more things on The Merchant of Venice. I am really happy that I finally have the confidence to speak out loud. ^^
